SAN DIEGO, Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Lanoi Dermatology has welcomed Hannah Sophie Berman, MD, a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon, to its Sorrento Valley dermatology practice. Dr. Berman provides medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology with particular expertise in Mohs micrographic surgery, cutaneous reconstruction and individualized aesthetic care.
Her addition strengthens Lanoi’s ability to support San Diego patients across the full continuum of skin care, from the evaluation and treatment of medical skin concerns to skin cancer surgery, reconstructive procedures and personalized cosmetic treatment. About Hannah Berman, MD:
Dr. Berman earned a Bachelor of Arts in integrative biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She completed her dermatology residency at Mayo Clinic, where she served as chief resident.
She then completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-accredited fellowship in Mohs surgery and cutaneous oncology at Scripps Clinic under the mentorship of Dr. Hugh Greenway. Dr. Berman also completed formal cosmetic and laser training under an internationally renowned dermatologist, expanding her experience with cosmetic injectables, advanced laser treatments and comprehensive facial rejuvenation.
Outside the office, Dr. Berman is a long-distance runner who has completed several marathons. She has also volunteered her dermatology skills in Moshi, Tanzania, and enjoys traveling, gardening, baking bread and solving puzzles.
