New flatbed gear hauler combines lift-off SmartBins, a versatile SmartDeck, all-terrain wheels and a fold-flat design to eliminate the unpacking and repacking cycle

Coolers, chairs, sports equipment, beach gear, camping supplies, dog gear and all the other essentials have to get packed, loaded, unloaded, hauled and then somehow organized again when the day is over. Veer is taking aim at that problem with Veer Hauler, a new modular gear-hauling system designed around a simple idea: pack once, roll everywhere.
Launched in 2017 with a mission to make the outdoors more accessible to families with little ones, Veer first reimagined the traditional stroller with the Veer Cruiser, combining the conveniences of a premium stroller with the rugged performance of an all-terrain wagon. With Hauler, Veer is expanding that philosophy beyond transporting kids to transporting everything else that comes with getting outside.

Veer Hauler is a modular system built around a SmartDeck flatbed, removable SmartBins and additional hauling and storage accessories. At the center of Hauler is the SmartDeck, a flatbed designed for Coolers, folding chairs, sports equipment, camping gear, oversized items and other bulky essentials can ride directly on the deck, with integrated tie-down points and included short bungees to help secure loads.
The SmartBins can be packed once and lifted directly on and off the Hauler while still packed, moving gear from car, to Hauler, to destination and back again without the unpacking and repacking that typically comes with every outing. SmartBins are available in two sizes and can be stacked up to three bins high.
And because not everything needs to be a Veer product, Hauler is designed as an open system that works with standard storage bins and containers people already own, including Rubbermaid, Sterilite and other common sizes. That means users can build a hauling setup around the gear they already have rather than starting from scratch.
The Hauler frame is rated to pull up to 500 pounds and push up to 300 pounds on smooth, hard, flat ground. An adjustable handle lets users switch between pushing and pulling without stopping, while a one-touch foot brake helps keep the Hauler securely in place when stopped.
Standard soft-tread, chatter-free polyurethane wheels are designed to provide a smooth, stable ride across surfaces including pavement, packed paths, grass and gravel. For sand and more demanding terrain, optional Beach Wheel and High Performance Wheel Kits add specialized capability.
When the excursion ends, Hauler quickly folds flat in a single motion, while the wheels feature a one-touch quick release. With wheels attached, the collapsed frame measures 14 inches high, dropping to 9 inches with wheels removed. Empty SmartBins collapse down to two inches and stack up to three high for convenient storage.
