(A&V) is proud to announce that Michelle Garza, Director of Strategic Accounts, has been named Member of the Year by the International Metal Decorating & Packaging Association (IMDPA). The award was presented during the association’s 2026 Annual Conference and recognizes Garza’s leadership, volunteer service and ongoing contributions to the metal decorating and packaging industry.
Over the past year, Garza has expanded her involvement with IMDPA, joining its Board of Directors and serving as co-chair of the Technical Committee. She has also contributed to conference planning, technical education and industry communications, including facilitating the Flat Sheet Decorating Session at the 2026 Annual Conference.
Garza brings more than 30 years of experience in the metal deco and packaging industry. Her career began working alongside her father in a family business, where she gained experience across accounting, operations, product management, sales and ultimately executive leadership. That broad background helped shape her understanding of both the technical and business sides of the industry, as well as her long-standing commitment to customer relationships and service.
Today, as Director of Strategic Accounts for Anderson & Vreeland, Garza works closely with customers throughout the metal decorating market, supporting can, cup and aerosol manufacturers with platemaking technologies, technical resources and solutions designed to improve productivity and performance.

As a board member and Technical Committee co-chair, she is helping expand access to technical resources, educational content and opportunities for members to learn from one another.
Her work with IMDPA also complements her role at Anderson & Vreeland, where she continues to build strategic partnerships and help customers evaluate and implement technologies that improve their platemaking and printing operations.
