Dr. Johnson grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of the Pacific and completed graduate-level coursework in physiology at San Francisco State University. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University in 2015 and continued his clinical training by completing a general practice residency at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, where he gained experience treating medically complex patients. In 2016, Dr. Johnson moved to Hawaii to begin practicing dentistry, starting on the islands of Lanai and Maui before settling in Kailua, where he now lives with his family.
In the decade since arriving in Hawaii, Dr. Johnson has continued to expand his clinical expertise, with a focus on dental implant placement and restoration, oral surgery, and same-day crown technology. His approach to care emphasizes modern techniques delivered in a personal setting where patients see the same doctor at every visit.
