TORONTO, June 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FirstService Corporation (TSX and NASDAQ: FSV) (“FirstService”) announced today that, further to its previously announced acceptance by the Toronto Stock Exchange (the “TSX”) of a notice filed by FirstService of its intention to make a normal course issuer bid (the “NCIB”) with respect to its outstanding common shares, it has received approval from the TSX to amend the NCIB (the “Amended NCIB”), effective on June 4, 2026. The Amended NCIB will increase the maximum number of common shares that may be repurchased from 1,600,000, representing 3.9% of the “public float” of common shares as of August 12, 2025, to 4,118,199, representing 10% of the “public float” of common shares as of August 12, 2025, the maximum amount allowable under the rules of the TSX. No other terms of the NCIB have been amended.
