Juli 2025 – Das Komitee des Strüngmann Award gab heute bekannt, dass Dr. Dragan Grabulovski, Dr. Philipp Spycher und Dr. Isabella Attinger-Toller, die Gründer von Araris Biotech, als die diesjährigen Preisträger ausgezeichnet wurden. Der Award verfolgt das Ziel, herausragende unternehmerische und wissenschaftliche Leistungen sowie bahnbrechende Ideen in der Life-Science-Branche zu fördern. Das Gründerteam von Araris Biotech überzeugte nicht nur durch die Entwicklung einer neuartigen Technologie im Bereich der Antikörper-Wirkstoff-Konjugate, sondern auch durch deren erfolgreiche Validierung in Form von Partnerschaften und einem präklinischen Exit. Diese neue Medikamentenklasse hat das Potenzial, maßgeblich zur Weiterentwicklung zielgerichteter Krebstherapien beizutragen und somit einen Mehrwert für Menschen mit Krebserkrankungen weltweit zu erreichen.

The award aims to support outstanding entrepreneurial and scientific achievements, as well as ground-breaking ideas in the life sciences industry. Araris Biotech’s founding team distinguished itself not only by developing of a novel technology in the antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) field, but also by successfully validating this innovation through partnerships and a preclinical exit. This new drug class has the potential to significantly advance the development of targeted cancer therapies, thereby delivering added value for people living with cancer worldwide.

Munich, Germany – July 2, 2025 -- Ebenbuild, a company developing personalized, AI-enabled digital twins of lungs to support clinical decisions and digital clinical trials, today announced that it has received Euro 2.3 million funding under the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator program to advance its digital twin platform technology. In addition, the EIC fund will invest up to €10 million in future equity financing rounds raised by Ebenbuild. The funding will support the market launch of Twinhale, the first in silico trial software built for pulmonary drug delivery. The investment also underpins Ebenbuild’s broader platform strategy to transform respiratory care through personalized lung simulation – from drug development to mechanical ventilation optimization in critical care.
