SUGAR LAND, Texas, July 30, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CVR Energy, Inc. (NYSE: CVI, “CVR Energy” or the “Company”) today announced second quarter 2025 net loss attributable to CVR Energy stockholders of $114 million, or $1.14 per diluted share, compared to second quarter 2024 net income attributable to CVR Energy stockholders of $21 million, or 21 cents per diluted share. Adjusted loss for the second quarter of 2025 was 23 cents per diluted share, compared to adjusted earnings per diluted share of 9 cents in the second quarter of 2024. Net loss for the second quarter of 2025 was $90 million, compared to net income of $38 million in the second quarter of 2024. Second quarter 2025 EBITDA loss was $24 million, compared to second quarter 2024 EBITDA of $103 million.
