(NYSE: ORA), (the “Company” or “Ormat”), a leading geothermal and renewable energy company, announced today that it has closed its previously disclosed acquisition of the Blue Mountain geothermal power plant from Cyrq Energy. Under the agreement, Ormat paid $88 million for 100% of the equity interest in the 20MW power plant.
