HCM III Acquisition Corp Announces Closing of $253,000,000 Initial Public Offering

STAMFORD, Ct, Aug. 04, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- HCM III Acquisition Corp (Nasdaq: HCMAU) (the “Company”), a blank check company whose business purpose is to effect a merger, amalgamation, share exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses, announced today the closing of its previously announced initial public offering of 25,300,000 units, including 3,300,000 units issued pursuant to the full exercise by the underwriter of its over-allotment option. The units were sold at a price of $10.00 per unit. The Company’s units began trading on August 1, 2025 on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol “HCMAU”. Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-third of one redeemable warrant. Each whole warrant is exercisable to purchase one Class A ordinary share of the Company at a price of $11.50 per share. Only whole warrants are exercisable and will trade.
