Bright Power Expands Leadership Appointing New Vice President of New Construction

Will focus on high-performance solutions for new construction and rehabilitation projects

NEW YORK, Aug. 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Bright Power has announced a change in its leadership team. Adin Meir has joined the team as Vice President of New Construction and will lead and manage sustainability services, commissioning, and on-site generation consulting for Bright Power. Carmel Pratt, previously leading the New Construction teams, has shifted to Senior Technical Advisor to provide hands-on technical expertise for both new construction and rehabilitation projects.

As Vice President of New Construction, Meir is responsible for the New Construction divisions, focusing on building performance and decarbonization strategies in ground-up new construction and rehabilitation projects. Within the New Construction divisions, Meir will manage several professional services teams, including commissioning, on-site generation (solar) consulting, and sustainability services.

Meir will work with developers and architects to create high-performance buildings that are both comfortable and energy-efficient. Meir comes to Bright Power with a background in diverse real estate developments, bringing his expertise to Bright Power’s offerings in new residential markets, where high-performance design enhances asset value, increases resilience, supports compliance, and drives buyer and renter demand.

“Embedding high-performance design from the earliest stages is critical to delivering resilient, energy-efficient buildings—whether luxury residences or affordable housing. I’m excited to bring my experience to the Bright Power team and help drive the transition to a climate-neutral future, one building at a time,” said Meir.

Meir has more than 15 years of experience leading decarbonization strategies, energy management, and ESG initiatives within the commercial real estate sector. He has a proven history of scaling organizations, driving multimillion-dollar energy savings, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious sustainability goals. Previously, Meir served as Vice President of Energy & Sustainability of the Moinian Group, where he achieved a 20% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions during his first year. Prior to that role, he established the inaugural Energy Practice at Codegreen Sustainability and led the company’s Sustainability and Energy Management consulting for top-tier real estate firms across the country.

Pratt, who will now be a Senior Technical Advisor for Bright Power, will focus on direct involvement in project execution and technical guidance both internally and externally. With this concentration, Pratt is able to provide direct technical support, enhancing project outcomes from the ground up.

“I’m thrilled to be back on-site, working hands-on with the sustainability services team to advance high-impact and complex projects that require strong technical insight,” said Pratt. “It was a privilege to lead the New Construction teams, and I know with Meir’s expertise, the teams are poised for continued success.”
