GRANTS PASS, Ore., Aug. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Rogue Recovery, a recovery community organization (RCO) dedicated to providing comprehensive peer-based support, resources, and mentoring for individuals seeking and sustaining recovery from substance use and mental health challenges, is proud to announce its grand opening in Grants Pass on August 15, 2025. This ribbon-cutting ceremony marks a significant step in enhancing recovery services for residents of Josephine County which are some of the hardest-hit in the nation by the national addiction health crisis.
Josephine County, where Rogue Recovery will offer services, has one of the highest overdose rates in the state. Rural areas like the Rogue Valley have long been left behind when it comes to treatment: Oregon currently ranks last in the nation for access to recovery services, and the region hasn’t been immune to the national addiction crisis. Paired with a lack of affordable housing and limited recovery services, Josephine County is experiencing a higher local burden than other parts of the state.
“At Rogue Recovery, we’ve seen firsthand what a difference accessible, peer-led support can make,” said Community Center Director Chris Goldman (he/him). “Our peer mentors and staff are determined to change that by offering no-cost, low-barrier, and peer-led recovery services across Josephine County. We’re here to walk shoulder-to-shoulder with folks on their unique paths to healing and to help end overdose deaths in our state.”
Rogue Recovery’s Recovery Center will be open to people seeking or in recovery starting August 15, 2025. The center will be open 7 days a week, from 2 pm -10 pm.
The grand opening event will be held on Aug 15, 2025 at the Center: 550 SW 6th Ave Suite F, Grants Pass, OR 97526. Press members are asked to RSVP. There will be opportunities to speak with staff and peer mentors.
