Part of a growing workforce solutions partnership with Concorde, Heartland expands the program this year from 18 to 30 students
KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Concorde Career Colleges and Heartland Dental today announced the recipients of the 2025 Heartland Dental Hygiene Scholarships. Heartland is awarding a total of $24,000 in scholarships to students at Concorde campuses nationwide who demonstrate exceptional dedication, passion, and potential in the field of dental hygiene.
Heartland Dental is one of the largest dental support organizations in the nation and a longtime partner with Concorde to help address the need for dental hygienists. This is the fourth year Heartland Dental has awarded scholarships to Concorde students, expanding the program from 18 to 30 students.
“At Heartland Dental, we believe the future of dentistry is shaped by the passion and purpose of tomorrow’s hygienists,” said Henal Majethia, Campus Recruiting Manager for Heartland Dental. “We’re proud to support students who are not only advancing their clinical skills but also stepping into roles as changemakers and advocates for healthier communities. Our continued partnership with Concorde for the 2025 Heartland Dental Hygiene Scholarships reflects our investment in their growth, their leadership, and the meaningful difference they make in students’ lives.”
Added Kevin Prehn, President of Concorde Career Colleges: “Heartland continues to create pathways to employment for future dental hygienists, including student support and mentorship. This latest round of scholarships reflects their deepening commitment to supporting more Concorde students throughout their college journey. We are grateful for Heartland’s investment in our students and dental programs.”
Heartland Dental has collaborated with Concorde for several years to address its need for dental hygienists through company-sponsored dental hygiene labs on campus, graduate pinning ceremonies, and the annual scholarships. In August 2024, Concorde and Heartland announced the development of a groundbreaking co-branded campus in Fort Myers, Florida, set to open later this year. The company also supports Concorde’s pediatric community events that offer free dental services.
