Framebridge Expands to California with Six New Retail Locations, Opening First Two Stores August 2nd

WASHINGTON, Aug. 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Framebridge, the leading custom framing brand known for revolutionizing the industry through ease, affordability, premium materials, and curated styles, has announced its expansion to California, with six new retail locations set to open throughout the state. On Saturday, August 2nd, Framebridge will open their first California stores simultaneously in Palo Alto (855 El Camino Real) and Santa Monica (1607 Montana Avenue).

Framebridge was founded in 2014 by Susan Tynan in Washington, D.C. After five years of rapid online growth and consumer success, Framebridge opened its first retail stores in 2019. Framebridge’s California expansion represents the brand’s continued positive retail evolution. The first two West Coast openings bring their total store count to 38 stores across 15 states. Four additional California stores will follow in October, with locations planned for Berkeley, Larchmont, West 3rd, and Studio City.

“This is a huge milestone for Framebridge and one that we’ve been working towards since we opened our first store,” said Susan Tynan, Founder & CEO of Framebridge. “California is one of our biggest markets and a state that is full of creativity, inspiration, and culture, and we can’t wait to see what people will bring into frame!”

To support its California operations, Framebridge has established a new custom framing studio in Henderson, Nevada. This 37,000 square foot facility is the company’s fourth, joining existing studios in Richmond, Kentucky, and Winchester, Virginia. The Nevada studio is strategically positioned to most efficiently serve the growing California market.

Framebridge owns its custom framing process from start to finish, maintaining complete control over its premium materials, manufacturing quality, and framing standards. Every frame style is designed in-house and crafted by skilled artisans in either Tuscany or North Carolina. To date, Framebridge has custom framed over three million pieces, online and in stores.

Customers visit their nearest retail location to browse frame styles, drop off art, and receive personalized recommendations from an expert designer. Each store also features a community-focused gallery wall that celebrates the people, places, and things that make up its unique neighborhood.

On Saturday, August 2nd, Framebridge will be celebrating the grand opening of both California locations with print giveaways. While supplies last, Palo Alto customers can receive a 8×10 print of the Palo Alto Baylands from local artist Rebekah Laffoon, and Santa Monica customers can pick up a 8×10 print of the Georgian Hotel by local LA artist John Banh.
