Mauritania trusts EllaLink for its new international submarine cable connection

DUBLIN and NOUAKCHOTT, Mauritania, July 29, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — EllaLink, the owner of a high-capacity optic-fibre submarine cable directly connecting Europe and Latin America, and the Ministère de la Transformation Numérique et de la Modernisation de l’Administration (MTNMA) of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania have signed a contract for the construction, operation and maintenance of a second international link that will directly connect the country to Madrid, Spain.
