Pipe Network Enables Hosting of the Full Solana Data Archive on SolanaWave

~56ms Average RPC Response Time Across Solana‘s Full Archive — from block 500,000 to block 353,176,360

NEW YORK, July 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Permissionless Labs, core contributors to Pipe Network, today announced that they have added the entire Solana Proof of History (PoH) Archival data set to the Pipe Network’s decentralized Content Delivery Network (CDN) making it publicly accessible through the SolanaWave Slot Explorer and via API. This archival data is currently being offered as a public good for the Solana ecosystem — made possible by Pipe Network’s decentralized CDN.

David Rhodus, Founder of Permissionless Labs & a core contributor to the Pipe Network, commented on the launch, “As Anatoly said, data is the new oil and after seeing the 30% increase in download speeds when we uploaded Solana Snapshots to our CDN, we were excited to begin uploading the even larger Solana History data set to our CDN resulting in an average RPC response time of approximately 56 milliseconds. The launch of SolanaWave reaffirms our commitment to the Solana developer community that inspired us to build cutting edge & high throughput solutions for this ecosystem first. With all of Solana‘s data now on our CDN we look forward to being the high-throughput pipeline that brings this new form of oil to every part of the globe.”

When accessing SolanaWave users will be able to view a complete historical record of all Solana blocks and transactions, from block 0 (genesis) to the latest block — a petabyte (1PB) of archival blockchain data stored in a way that can be queried at any time. Some of the key archival data points that the Pipe Network’s decentralized CDN help serve via SolanaWave include:

  • Every transaction ever submitted
  • Every smart contract interaction
  • Every token and NFT movement
  • Full state history of accounts and programs
  • Most public RPCs only offer a small recent window (128–150 blocks). SolanaWave gives access to the entire chain.

The key advantage of SolanaWave’s full archival data set for developers compared to other block explorers includes democratizing blockchain data access, which enables new use cases that are based upon having lightning-fast access to all archival data using a free & open Infrastructure. Client-side parsing of the data is currently available with plans to add fully searchable indexed data in the near future.
