This partnership expands Recovery.com’s existing advertiser verification processes to require LegitScript certification for certain advertisers, aligning its standards with those enforced by major platforms, including Google, Meta, and Microsoft.

LegitScript certification will be required for advertisers who meet the following criteria:
- Operate in the United States or Canada
- Provide Substance Use Disorder (SUD) primary treatment
- Offer Intensive Outpatient (IOP) or higher levels of care, including Detoxification, Residential, or Inpatient treatment services
Streamlined Integration for Recovery.com Advertisers
As an official partner, Recovery.com is working directly with LegitScript to streamline the certification process and integrate it into its onboarding and compliance workflows. Advertisers who are already certified — or those beginning the certification process — will have dedicated support to help them achieve certification.
